Day 1

Las Vegas Arrival

Welcome to the City of Lights! From the moment you are greeted at the Las Vegas airport, your only responsibility over the next eleven days is to enjoy yourself. This evening you’ll get to know your Trip Director and your guides over a lavish welcome dinner. Walk the strip, settle in for a round of black jack, or simply relax in the quiet sanctuary of the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel.

Day 2

Death Valley National Park

Motor west from Las Vegas toward Death Valley behind the wheel of a high-performance car as pristine and exotic as the surrounding desert and mountain landscape. Stretch your legs at 282-feet below sea level (the lowest point in North America) in the salt flats of Badwater Basin before continuing on to the 5,476-foot terrace of Dante’s View, on the crest of the Black Mountains. Savor a private lunch and a pampered overnight at the elegant and historic Inn at Furnace Creek, a Death Valley landmark nestled amidst an oasis of palm gardens and natural, spring-fed pools.

Day 3

Yosemite National Park

Take in the staggering sights of El Capitan, Half Dome, Lower Yosemite Falls, and Olmstead Point as Ansel Adams once did, capturing your own impressions of the park with tips from a professional photo guide. Your home for the evening is the Majestic Yosemite Hotel (formerly the Ahwahnee), a historic landmark and architectural masterpiece boasting postcard-worthy views and the perfect fusion of elegance, intimacy, and rustic charm.

Day 4

Crater Lake National Park

7,700 years ago, Oregon’s Mount Mazama erupted, collapsing into itself and creating a massive, 2,000-foot-deep, six-mile wide caldera, now home to the astonishingly blue waters of Crater Lake. Soak up the park’s eye-popping palette and pristine scenery by bike on a ride along Rim Drive, and by foot on a hike to Garfield Peak, before relishing in a well-earned massage. This evening, raise a glass or two of sommelier-selected Oregon wines as you watch the sun set over the caldera at the historic Crater Lake Lodge.

Day 5

Glacier National Park

Today begins with a private Red Bus tour along the Going-to-the-Sun Road, a 50-mile engineering feat that winds through Glacier’s peaks and valleys, affording some of the best views in northwest Montana. At Lake McDonald we’ll kayak crystal-clear waters to a backdrop of postcard-perfect, snow-capped mountains, keeping an eye out for bighorn sheep, mountain goat, elk, and black bear along the shoreline. This evening, cozy up for a delectable fireside meal at the Swiss chalet-style Lake McDonald Lodge.

Day 6

Yellowstone National Park

For most visitors, Yellowstone and exclusivity don’t go hand in hand. As guests of Privel, however, you’ll experience the park as a VIP, with insider access not only to the best rooms at the elegant Lake Hotel (a National Historic Monument) but also to Upper Geyser Basin (home to Old Faithful), which we’ll explore alongside one of the most renowned historians in the country. Seal your day with a cocktail overlooking Yellowstone Lake in your hotel’s Sun Room, to the live soundtrack of a string quartet.

Day 7

Yellowstone & the Tetons

Your behind-the-scenes Yellowstone experience continues with an opportunity to scout wolves and grizzlies in Hayden Valley with a local biologist, and to hike the park’s backcountry trails through rolling meadows, over geyser basins, and beneath a deep green canopy of lodgepole pine. As night falls, treat yourself to a hot stone massage or a Himalayan salt scrub before watching the sun dip behind the Tetons from your private terrace at the sensational five-star Amangani Resort in Jackson.

Day 8

Grand Teton National Park

Begin your day in style with an extravagant champagne breakfast and a hot air balloon ride over the saw-toothed peaks of Jackson Hole. The afternoon is yours: wet a line with an expert guide on a fly fishing excursion, visit the Amangani’s world-class spa, explore the Mangelsen Nature Gallery with Thomas Mengelsen himself as your guide, or hit the town square for some shopping. At sundown we’ll float the Snake River, on the lookout for moose, bald eagles, and black bears, capping off the day with an unforgettable riverside dinner at a private Tipi Camp.

Day 9

Zion National Park

There is a reason National Geographic rated Zion’s Virgin River Narrows one of the Top 5 Best Adventures in America. Step into a captivating world of 3,800-foot sandstone walls, river-carved slot canyons, tumbling waterfalls, and emerald hanging gardens as you hike The Narrows alongside a geologist from the Zion Natural History Association. At day’s end, savor a bison burger and a perfectly-toasted s’mores at a sumptuous campfire barbecue before retiring to the peaceful refuge of Zion Lodge and its illustrious starry skies.

Day 10

Havasupai

This morning we have the unique opportunity to descend from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon into the Native American village of Supai—the most remote town in America—by way of helicopter, enjoying sweeping, birds-eye views of the canyon along the way. In Havasu, an offshoot of the Grand Canyon, explore a hidden oasis of 100-foot waterfalls, spring-fed travertine pools, and grapevine-laden meadows, pausing for a refreshing dip in the crystalline waters of Havasu Creek. Retire this evening to an elegant suite at the esteemed El Tovar, the crown jewel of Historic National Park Lodges, perched on the rim of the Grand Canyon.

Day 11

Grand Canyon National Park

Your final day on the South Rim offers a behind-the-scenes tour with an expert from the Grand Canyon Field Institute to the Hopi House and the Kolb Brother’s famed photography studio. A Harvey Girl will accompany us on a privately chartered and fully restored steam train to Williams, Arizona, where you’ll slide into the driver’s seat of a mint-condition vintage sports car and navigate east along Route 66 to your private jet in Flagstaff. Back in Vegas, we’ll celebrate your journey with a decadent farewell feast and VIP tickets to a highly sought after show, courtesy of AEG Entertainment.

Day 12

Las Vegas Departure

Privel will arrange your private transfer to the Las Vegas airport.
